- Stopped at Solvang earlier, a “Danish” town. Hmm. I’ve been to Denmark & this didn’t remind me of it. #
- Now at Santa Barbara. Went via Hwy 154, over Cold Spring Arch Bridge & thru Los Padres National Forest. Stunning scenery on the way. #
- Also went up v steep & v twisty mountain road to see Chumash Painted Cave. V interesting, plus utterly awesome views on way up & down. #

- Left SB on US Hwy 101, then to CA Hwy 1, right on coast. Pacific one side, mountains of Los Padres National Forest t’other #
- Went thru Ventura & Oxnard, then back onto CA Hwy 1 towards Santa Monica, then taking the 10 to LA #
