In two calendar months’ time, Ally and I will be flying to the Western USA for our 1st Anniversary American Adventure Honeymoon Road Trip.
San Francisco, Los Angeles, and other parts of California, along with the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, and Las Vegas.
Should be awesome 
Ally will be taking both the Canon Ixus, and her Nikon D40 SLR so we should get plenty of photos – quick and easy compact camera snaps along with fancy SLR photos.
My new toy has given me some ideas for blogging while we travel.
Although there’s no way I want to use any roaming cellular data (I still remember my bill after Turin last year!), there should be opportunities for free WiFi when I can post proper blog updates of the trip.
Plus, when no free ‘net is available I can post mini updates to Twitter via SMS (roaming SMS to UK no.s are inclusive on O2).
With blog and Twitter linkage it should all tie up nicely. May even be able to post some pics with my iPhone’s meager 2MP camera LOL.
Two more months of tedium though until our holiday of a lifetime…
