SCEE and Eurogamer can suck my balls!

So, Sony and Eurogamer have “teamed up” to offer 5000 lucky PS3 owners in Europe the chance to play a LittleBigPlanet demo.

All you have to do is go to a link on the Eurogamer website, register for an account if you don’t have one already, and then get one of the 5000 codes so you can download the demo on your PS3.

Sounds simple enough…

… if the Eurogame website wasn’t a pile of crap, unable to cope with the insane demand this offer has placed on it.

I’ve spent nearly three hours trying to get the fucking thing!

Eventually managed to register for the stupid website, only to then find it wouldn’t let me activate the account, as whenever I tried the activation link the page timed out (or gave an internal server error).

Refresh. Page Load Error. Refresh. Time Out. Refresh. Internal Server Error. Refresh. Page Load Error. Refresh. Time Out. Refresh. Internal Server Error. Refresh. Page Load Error. Refresh. Time Out. Bastards.

And now all the fucking codes have gone.

And I still haven’t even got my Eurogamer account activated.

And why the hell can’t they just stick the fucking demo on the PSN Store for everyone?

This may actually be even more of a piss-take than the nightmare of trying to sign up for a Konami ID back when the Metal Gear Online beta started.
