So, there was a big storm last night, mega rain…
… and the roof at work is rather… crap.
Oops.
Someone was at work late last evening, when the water suddenly came through the ceiling. She called the MD, the MD called a couple of others, and they spent a couple of hours bailing water out and mopping up.
Some of us went in today (most got told not to bother)… it’s a bloody disaster area.
Water all over the place. Various bits of equipment most likely ruined. Luckily we didn’t lose any of the fridges or freezers.
Did some tidying up, then we left about 10am, so I’ve had an unexpected day off (which I’ve pretty much wasted, lol).
Not gonna be fun sorting stuff out on Monday…
