Belated update (as per usual!)

So, I used the rest of that week off in November to finish “BioShock” (excellent game), & then started “Assassin’s Creed” the week after.

“Assassin’s Creed” looks utterly gorgeous, & is fun in places, but it was also really frustrating & repetitive. I traded it in (along with “BioShock”) as soon as I finished it, towards “Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare”.

Played “Mass Effect” once I finished “Assassin’s Creed”. Has some “issues” (framerate, freezing, some other things), but still fucking brilliant. Awesome. Really sucked me in, it had me playing late pretty much every night for about a week & a half, ’till I finished it. The game clock showed around 38 hours by the time I completed it. I really want to go back & play it again, too, & I don’t do that often (only other game I can think of recently that I actually played through more than once was “Halo 3″). But, before playing it again, I think I’ll play COD4 first, & maybe finally get stuck into “Super Mario Galaxy”.

Work has been pretty busy recently. the Manager is now off on maternity leave, leaving JM as acting Production Manager, which means he has less time in the lab, causing the rest of us to be more busy.

We had our work Christmas Party last night, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Very good night, but went too quickly. Luckily, this was not my year to get horrendously pissed & throw up. That honour went to poor ol’ Phil.

Had today off work, plus have taken next Monday off too, so I don’t actually go back until Wednesday 2nd January 2008
