… not me 
After an extremely long and drawn out process, TPTB have finally decided upon who will be the new Production Supervisor at work. It’s gone to JM. Apparently, he “just pipped me to the post”.
Hmm.
Oh well, I suppose at least it means I don’t have to deal with all the stress and hassle!
They’ve given me a rather meaningless consolation prize, and said that they recognise my desire to progress, and my length of service and experience, yadda yadda yadda, and so I am now officially a “Senior Production Scientist”, rather than just a “Production Scientist”.
But although I am now officially “Senior”, it doesn’t come with any extra money or any extra (official) responsibility.
Still, it’s something for the CV, I guess.
