Fuck, two months since the last post. Even lamer than usual.
So…
Got my 360 back from MS. Well, it’s actually a refurb unit, but it is newer than my one, & so far is working OK.
And the same day that I got my 360 back… I got my Wii! [ordered a few days earlier].
Great machine. Wii Sports is excellent. Also got Zelda, but not had time to play it yet. Mario Strikers is out soon, & hopefully also Super Paper Mario. Then there’s also RE4 (Wii remake), Mario Galaxy, & Metroid Prime 3 due out at some point. And Ally actually likes it! Only ever got her to play on the 360 once (on DOA4), but she actually really likes the Wii, & will even play it by choice when I’m out, rather than only joining in if I have it on.
Been flitting between different games on the 360. Worked my way through Oblivion a bit more, finishing the Dark Brotherhood & Mages’ Guild, & also did a bit more of the Thieves’ Guild questline. Then played GRAW all the way through, & have now gone back to Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Once I’ve finished SC:DA, I’ll start off on GRAW2, plus do some more of Oblivion.
Also want to get Crackdown. Tried the demo, & found it pretty good fun. Plus it also gives access to the time-limited Halo 3 multiplayer beta.
Ally passed her TKD black belt a few weeks back! 
She is now a 1st Dan Black Belt in TAGB Tae Kwon Do!
We’re off to Scotland next weekend, over the “Spring Bank Holiday”. Long weekend near Loch Lomond.
Work is both busy & boring.
Been “acting Team Leader” for nearly two months now, I think. Not much longer left ’till JM takes over for 3 months. It’s been… interesting.
