Small Claims – we’ve got a date for what should hopefully be the actual full final hearing – some point in early Feb. Still in fucking High Wycombe though.
Work – Fucking busy. We do have some new staff though, at last. A new tech, & an extra QC person. Getting a new Production Scientist in the New Year, & a warehouse/stock person. I did have the final 3 days of next week booked off, but have been asked if I could come in anyway though, as there’s so much to do, & carry the 3 days over to next year (they don’t normally let us carry holiday over). Agreed to it. Wasn’t doing anything with them anyway, just using them up before the end of the year. Gonna use them to take the 1st three days of next year off instead.
I had a preliminary phone interview last week for a “Scientific Officer” position at the new Cancer Research lab at the Addenbrooke’s site. Didn’t do well! Don’t think I’ll be hearing back from them, lol.
Work Christmas Party last night, at the Garden House Hotel. Very nice. Free food, free booze, quite fun & funny. Did get forced to dance though. Also threw up afterwards, while outside waiting for the taxi. Oh well. Doesn’t happen often, & at least I didn’t throw up in the cab.

Ally’s birthday tomorrow 
We’ve both got today & tomorrow off work. I’ve spent today recovering from last night, while Ally has gone to London for the day to go shopping & see some musical called “Wicked”. We’re seeing her family on Saturday, & going out for a meal.
Other – I’ve rejoined the Moderator team at CableForum . I used to be on the Team from April 2004 ’till January 2006, but left as I no longer had enough time for it, for various reasons. They did a recruitment drive recently, after a few mods left, & I successfully applied to rejoin, now that I tend to have more time again.
