I stopped smoking for about 3 weeks, on my birthday.
Then I started again.
Erm. Oh well.

The County Court “Small Claims” case against my lying, cheating, greedy, cunt of an ex-landlord takes place on Thursday.
I’ve been preparing loads of stuff for it recently.
Hopefully the Judge won’t be an idiot, and my former housemates and I will win.

Work’s been odd.
It’s been crap, busy, and annoying as usual. But this past week was actually kind of enjoyable.
My line manager was off all this week. I got to do a lot of the stuff she’d normally do, and although it was manic, and meant I was rushing around a lot trying to fit all her stuff in with my own work, it was also quite fun.

Saw a few interesting job ads in the past couple of weeks. One for some “Scientific Officer” posts at some new Cancer Research thing at the Addenbrooke’s site, and a couple of other things at Babraham. Not applied to any yet. Deadlines for them are soon though, so I should get on to it sharpish.
