So, no update in nearly three months.
I’m so fucking lame lol.
Anyway…
Home – Fine. One month left on mine & Ally’s 6 month tenancy contract. Hopefully we’ll be able to renew it.
Work – Fucking busy. Currently doing two Tech Transfers of new products coming over to Production from R&D. Really busy, & IMO they should’ve waited a bit before starting the transfers, as some of it really isn’t ready.
Ex-House Saga – My ex-housemates & I are in the process of taking our former landlord to the County Court, Small Claims Track.
We sent off the claim form to the Court 3 weeks ago. Ex-Landlord responded a couple of weeks later saying he would be lodging a defence. He has until Monday 3rd July to actually lodge his defence with the Court. Then, we see what happens…
Kung Fu – Ex-housemate Martin emailed me a few weeks ago saying he’d found a Wing Chun (not WingTsun) club in Cambridge, East Anglia Wing Chun Athletic. I looked the place up online, seemed OK. Also Googled the instructor, & he sounds legit. Place is a lot cheaper than Kickstart – no contract or Credit Agreement, no Standing Orders or Direct Debits, no deposit, £5 per lesson rather than £69 per month, etc.
Went along a couple of weeks ago just to watch & it looks interesting. Similar to what I did before, yet different at the same time.
But… I’m not sure if I can really be bothered. Not done anything for three months, so got out of the habit etc., plus got used to having more free time in the week. Also, not so sure if my past WingTsun experience would actually be a hinderence rather than a help, as there’s a lot of differences as well as similarities, & I’d probably have to unlearn a lot, such as how I’m used to doing the Sui Nim Tao etc. Plus, well, I’m lazy.
Other – Gonna try & start to learn how to programme. A recent issue of Computer Shopper had the full MS Visual Studio 2005 Express on a cover CD, & I’m gonna have a go at C#. Got a couple of books already. Just need time to get into it.
