Christmas time

So, yet another extremely belated post.

What have I done since the last one?

Hmm.

Still with Ally, & still in love

Very good. I’d worried before that I wouldn’t be able to open my heart to anyone again, nor love again, but I have & it’s great.

What else?

Had a week off work at the end of Nov / start of Dec. Didn’t do a great deal during the daytime apart from watch Babylon 5 DVDs. Did a WingTsun kung fu grading that week…now have my 3rd Student Grade Had a WingTsun seminar day on the Sunday of that week, which was good fun.

Got my Microsoft XBox360 on launch day, Friday 2nd December. Got Perfect Dark Zero & Project Gotham Racing 3 with it. Very good. Not had a great deal of time on it so far, but did eventually manage to finish PDZ, & have now started playing PGR3.

Had a few days off work last week, with Ally – Wed, Thurs, Fri. Ally’s birthday was on the Thursday. We went to her parents’ house in Rayleigh on Thursday morning, & went out for dinner with them & a couple of Ally’s friends on the Thursday night. Came back to Cambridge on the Friday evening, via Lakeside. Went out on Saturday night with a few people for drinks for Ally’s birthday, fun night.

Sunday last week Ally & I went to Walden for Sunday dinner with my parents & brother.

Busy start to the week at work, although it was a bit quieter on Thursday, & they gave us today off!

Had the work Christmas party last night, at a conference hall at Newmarket Races. Quite good fun, although it had a really tacky & cheesy Caribbean cruise theme. Saw Ally afterwards, as she’d come back to mine after her work Christmas party (which was also last night).

Felt extremely rough today. Too much alcohol last night, & mixed my drinks. Went into town earlier. Still feel a bit dodgy.

Off home to Walden later this evening. Ally’s giving me a lift on her way back to her parents’ house.

Gonna try & come back to Cambridge on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Oh, & my house is a nightmare at the moment.

Landlord is having an extension done. Beckee has had to move into the lounge, which is now her bedroom. What was her room is gonna be the new lounge/diner, opening into the extension. The kitchen is gonna get done, & the utility room is being extended so will have a shower room instead of simply a small downstairs loo. It’ll be good when it’s done, but it’s pretty crap at the moment due to holes being made out back & in the kitchen, & the house freezing, & the lack of a washing machine the past 3 weeks (had to take my washing round Ally’s).

Oh well.
