Well, been just over 3 weeks since the last post.
Too busy, as seems to be the case most of the time now.
So, let’s see.
Saw Ally again on the Thursday after the last post, Sept 15th. She popped over after I got back from WT training in the evening, & we went to the Pig.
Stayed in on the Friday.
Went out on the Saturday night (17th), with work people, to “The Vaults” bar in town. Pretty good night, quite funny.
Saw Ally on the Sunday (18th). She’d been at a Tae Kwon Do championsip in Scotland for the weekend, & I went over the Sunday night.
Monday 19th – WT training, then Ally popped over afterwards.
Tuesday 20th – Ally came over for dinner.
Wednesday 21st – Pub after work, then WT training, then rejoined my workmates for beer & pool.
Thursday 22nd – Went to the Pig with Rich, Karen, & LLoyd.
Friday 23rd – Stayed in, watched “Lost” & “Rome”.
Saturday 24th – Met up with Mum & Dad in town at lunchtime, had a couple of drinks with them. Went to a new Indian restaurant, the “Tandoori Station”, with Rob & LLoyd, then went to the bar at the Art Cinema & had a few drinks while waiting to see some strange Korean animé type film.
Sunday 25th – Ally had been away for the weekend, at a wedding, but I saw her later on on Sunday.
Monday 26th – WT training. Watched “Rome”.
Tuesday 27th – Ally came over, & took me to the Saffron Brasserie for my birthday (couldn’t do it on the day due to training etc.).
Wednesday 28th – My 28th birthday. Took it, plus the next two days, off work. Went to training, then met up with work people afterwards, plus managed to drag LLoyd along after too.
Thursday 29th – Met up with some old housemates, Tom, Carolyn, & Hazel. Went to the Saffron Brasserie (again, lol). Watched another “Lost” when I got home.
Friday 30th – End of the month WT club pub night, at the Cambridge Blue. Very good night. Ally came along, Rob & LLoyd went, & there were quite a few people from WingTsun (more than last time, which was good).
Saturday 1st October – Went to the “Bath Ale House” with Rich, Rob, & LLoyd, then went to “Soul Tree” (similar night to the last time there).
Sunday 2nd October – Went round Ally’s.
Monday 3rd – WT training. Watched “Rome”.
Tuesday 4th – Went round Ally’s.
Wednesday 5th – Pub after work, then WT training, then rejoined my workmates.
Thursday 6th – today. Nothing much.
This week has been really fucking annoying at work.
On the one hand, it’s been more interesting recently, as I’ve been doing some “Process Development” stuff rather than normal Production work. Quite good, doing tests & experiments, trying to develop some of our existing probes.
But.. it’s been really fucking busy, this week in particular. I’ve not left work on time even once this week. I’ve averaged almost an extra hour each evening this week so far. Better bloody leave on time on Friday.
