Beware the leopard

Hmm. Two weeks since I last posted. Kept meaning to write earlier, but never got around to it.

So.

Yesterday was Kathryn’s 25th birthday. So I was on a bit of a downer. A year ago this week was her graduation/birthday week…grad ball on the Monday, 24th birthday on the Thursday, graduation ceremony on the Friday. Spent the whole of that week with her. Great week together. And of course spent her 23rd birthday together, in 2003, & her 22nd birthday together, in 2002. But not her 25th birthday, & not any future birthdays.

I sent her a card this week, also sent her a letter with it. Not really sure why I sent her a letter, but there were things I’d wanted to say.

Oh well.

Anyway.

Been very busy at work the past two weeks.

Shitloads to do.

Will be even more busy next week, as my manager is off.

Heh, & had some more comedy at work. Our tech is a bit…odd. Has a thing for “splatter movies”, & has a little notebook he writes zombie movie pitches in. He has the ability to kill any conversation dead, by mentioning something completely irrellevant & really fucking weird. And he likes sharp objects. He also likes to label things. Anyway, one of my workmates went out the back to get some boxes last week, when the tech was on holiday, & found a sticker on a door out back simply saying “Beware the leopard!” in our tech’s handwriting. No idea why the hell he put it there, but it’s amused us all ever since.

Went to WingTsun on Monday & Wednesday last week, & went to the pub afterwards on Wednesday. Stayed in Friday night, & went out on Saturday. Saw Batman Begins again, lol. Fucking brilliant movie. Did fuck all on Sunday.

Did WingTsun on Tuesday & Wednesday this week. Played badminton with a few work people on Thursday evening – good fun, & I didn’t ache the nex tday (unlike when I played back in February), so I guess the regular exercise is making a difference.

Went out last night with Rob & LLoyd. B Bar, & then the River Bar & Kitchen. Not bad.

Popped into town briefly today. Don’t think I’ll go out tonight.
