Too hot!

It’s been absolutely fucking boiling the last two days. Really hot. Uncomfortably hot.

Bah.

Work was OK this week. Fairly busy, but not too bad.

Had WingTsun on Wednesday, then met up with workmates at Willie Thorne’s afterwards for some pool. Played some brilliant games, although I also made a few awful shots too. LOL, never consistent.

Had Friday off work, as annual leave. Hardly used any of my holiday time so far, that was only my 2nd day off, so I thought I’d have a random Friday off to make a long weekend.

Heh, not really done much with my weekend though.

Haircut Friday, pub with Rich & LLoyd etc Friday night, & done bugger all today except watch the last episode of the new Doctor Who.

Got lots of house worries at the moment.

Fuck.

The landlord has (again) had the house on the market, just like last year, & the year before that. And it looks like it’ll fail to sell again, just like before.

But…

Although if it doesn’t sell, I could probably stay here, I’d have to find all new housemates again. And that’s a right hassle, plus the house has deteriorated since last year, so it would definitely be harder to find people willing to live here.

Tom isn’t sure if he’s gonne be in Cambridge still & Carolyn is moving to hospital accomodation (doing another post doc placement, with soem time in London, & then…wherever). And Hazel has got so fed up with the landlord’s lack of sorting things out (e.g. the kitchen damp, the lack – so far – of sorting the kitchen carpet after the flood last Sat, etc) – plus fed up with the increasing annoyance caused by him giving short notice about potential buyers viewing the house – that she’s thought “fuck it” & wants to move out early.

Agh, so if Hazel does move out early, the bills will end up going three ways rather than four :(

Plus, Carolyn will be in London for around a month during the last couple of months of the tenancy, so she obviously won’t pay towards bills & council tax for that period. Making it a two way split.

Fuck.

At least the rent will be the same for the remainder.
