Phil at work is moving from Production to R&D soon – which will leave me as the only remaining Scientist in Production.
The company are advertising for another Scientist – or at least a Technician.
They’re also advertising for a Production Supervisor… (as Phil is effectively one at the moment, or at least a Senior Scientist, so when he goes to R&D we won’t have one in Production).
I really don’t like the idea of some new person coming in, & going straight in above me. Especially if they ended up being younger, & had less relevant experience.
So… I’m going to apply for it. Don’t see why not.
Whether I’ll actually get it… fuck knows.
Updated my CV today, & wrote a cover letter. Gonna give them to my Manager tomorrow.
