Went to Mickey Flynn’s Thursday last week, with Tom & Matt, for pool & beer. Good laugh.
Out on Christmas Eve with Rich, Karen, LLoyd etc., & managed to be fairly cheerful.
On Christmas Day, I did go round Steve’s in the end. Turned out to be a fairly good day, considering. Had Christmas dinner, watched a DVD, & played lots & lots of Mario Kart.
Didn’t do much on Boxing Day.
Monday this week…finally started playing Half-Life 2. Excellent game.
Tuesday…went 10 pin bowling with Dave, Amanda, Phil, Cath, Darleen & Dan, for Darleen’s 30th.[karting fell through]. Quite a laugh. 1st time I’ve been bowling in over 10 years, & I did’t actually do too badly.
Wednesday…Watched LotR: The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended Edition DVD). Excellent film. Then went out Wednesday night with Rich, Karen, & Tim.
Thursday…Watched both The Two Towers & The Return of the King (Extended Edition DVDs). Awesome films, but a very long day!
Today…New Year’s Eve…not done much today. Faffed about in the afternoon. Ben & Graham are in London for a NYE party, while Rich & Karen have gone to Wales, so not many of my mates are around. LLoyd & I are going to Tim’s soon, to spend New Year’s Eve round there getting mashed & playing games etc.
